    stock 2009 double cab
So I just bought a 2009 double cab Tacoma 4x4 sport. I went to the mountains with a friend and was doing doughnuts in the snow. I can't remember exactly but I think it happened in 2 and 4 wheel drive, I was getting these loud beeping noises. I'm guessing its a warning system to tell me I'm loosing traction. It was very very annoying, how can I disable this noise. It sounded like a faster seatbelt beeping noise.[IMG]

that's your traction control kicking in. you can temporarily disable it by holding down the button with the squiggly lines. but it will reengage at 20 mph.

Yours comes back on at 20? when I hold mine down it goes away until I turn it back on. Make sure you are in park when you hold it down.

At a stop , push and hold the VSC button for 3-5 seconds until the AUTO LSD goes out leaving only the VSC OFF light illuminated

It will re-engage if you push the button again or turn off the truck

You don't have to be in Park and it won't come back on over 30 mph

It's 30pmh and that's only if you just push the button or were moving when you held it down
