Warning light interesting combination

    2009 Reg Cab, 4 Cyl, Automatic, 2 whl Drv.
    I have no idea why these both have come on steady, and stay on. It's like they are related. I wonder if it had anything to do with moving the shift lever to the left as I was going down a fairly steep hill, and thought maybe I could use engine braking instead of Brakes On / Off / On.... I didn't see them come on then, but just wondering. Truck seems to run normal, stop normal, so not sure if there is anything I can do. Likely have to get the codes looked over I guess. If it's serious, the damage is already done. image.jpg

    If your check engine light is on steady it is not a big deal. If your check engine light starts flashing while you are driving it is time to pull over and call a tow truck. When the light is flashing it means that there could be serious damage to the engine or catalytic converters.
