This truck has been a wonder for all these years. We never used it very much and it only has about 133,000 miles on it. No real problems until the warning light came on and wouldn't go off. Took it for service and the guys worked on the catalytic converter and put in a new battery. Good. Went home and warning light was on again the next day. They told me this would probably happen but not to fret about it.

I am finally in a position to get rid of this truck since I'm closing my nursery business this year (I'm 76 yrs old) and no longer need the truck but with this problem I don't think I could ever sell it except for scrap.

Any suggestions and thanks in advance.

Did the guys at the garage pull engine codes? Do you know what they were?

    Welcome to the forum!!

You could go to a local Autozone (or similar) - they can pull the engine codes for free (make sure its free). After you get the code, do some research here or google and you'll get a better idea of what you're up against.
