    Folks,

Sad news on DIY cruise control installation, some Tacomas do not have the necessary wiring, (2010 4x4 2.7 Reg Cab base). Purchased all the parts from the sticky threads, delay wipers went in okay, cruise stalk on steering wheel and clutch switch for it went in fine. Problem is no plug to for clutch switch on cruise control. Friend is long time experienced mechanic could not find it and neither I (most of dash out) could using wiring diagrams from both FSM and Rostra's after market web site. The only ray of hope may be different wiring for 2010's

Will take to dealer after first of year to see if the can do it

The wiring isn't there. They stopped pre-wiring Tacomas for it sometime during the 2009 model year. Some 2009s were lucky enough to get it, mine doesn't have it. I still have all the parts sitting on the shelf. Only way to get them to work is to run wiring yourself from the ECU.

I would be interested in buying your parts for the cruise control mod.
