Added 3 skids today. Now I just need to reroute the exhaust and throw on the trans skid.

Nice day outside, oil change, tire rotation, and u-joints.

Never going to deal with that bullshit again. Added a Fumoto 103 valve.

Noticed some light rust on my exhaust while I was cleaning the undercarriage and spraying it with Fluid Film. Pulled the exhaust, stripped it down and painted it with some BBQ Grill Rustoleum.

I'd be curious to know that works in 6 months.

I don't drive it much, and there's rarely any salt on the roads. If it doesn't hold up, I'll but a new catback, but from what I've read it works well.

Depends, what do you use your truck for? Haven't seen any wheeling or action pics.

Bought a BirdDawg Mirror Riser to install my RAM mount. It's warming up, so I anticipate lots more to come.

    BirdDawg Industries Mirror Riser Install

    Tools
    1/32 Hex Key
    Torx 20
    3M Molding Adhesive Tape

Due to the concerns of cracking a windshield, I've made some initial modifications that I believe will reduce the risks.

I've added some 3M Molding Adhesive on the back of the mount to mitigate stress points and metal vibrating against the windshield.

After installing the base, I added blue Loctite to all screws, and tightened down the screws very very lightly. I noticed a small gap behind the base, which the adhesive molding resolved.

Then, I mounted the RAM Ball.

    Final Thoughts

The riser installed easily, but the windshield cracking issues made me more cautious. I'll report back if anything changes.

Exhaust still in great condition with the BBQ Grill paint, cleaned and scrubbed the whole underbody yesterday. No signs of flaking or rust.

Added RAM Mount to my Bird Dawg Mirror Riser. (Pictured above) I likely won't run the setup all the time, but it's nice for long trips.

Bought a Milspec Monkey Vehicle Visor Wolf Grey Large (made by Tactical Tailor USA) for easy access to some of my gear.

Depending on the weight the visor can withstand, I'll have to prioritize immediate access items. I also need to determine if the items stored could create more risks (Trauma Shears, Multitool, etc...) to myself and passengers in an accident.

    Possible items:
    • Emergency Numbers
    • Belt Cutter
    • Trauma Shears
    • Tourniquet
    • Flashlight

Cleaned her up today. She's still the pavement princess you fell in love with. Took her for a night on the town.
