Thank you for that information. I just ruined a new set of rotors because I ignored the torque specs!
How would I shop for more robust rotors?

Does anyone into mods know of improved front brake rotors. I have heard of upgrading to Tundra front brakes, but don’t know of any standard front brake upgrades.

power stop. but don't purchase for an e-commerce seller as they ship from the distributor and do not inspect before shipping and have zero concern about heavy items being shipped in shitty weak packaging. You might be lucky to get half of the order, and then spend a month fighting to get their crap returned and your money back. I know from a bad experience. Look at Summit or a real parts supply seller - they package and check before sending.

My 21 trd has always had the lug nuts torqued to 83 ft lbs
I replaced pads with factory pads at 60'000
I forget just when but maybe at 70,000 is when I first noticed the warp. It is getting very annoying.
It's not driven hard or ever towed anything. I just assume poor quality rotors from Toyota

How much torque was caused to warp rotors …. That’s crazy …. Toyota is notorious for warped rotors from the factory …no idea how the tech determined it was caused by over torqued rims ..unless they checked it prior to removing the lug nuts.
