Hey everyone. I’m picking up my new trd off road soon. I got the or because I knew I was going to swap out the suspension and wheels and tires. I’m going to go kings 2.5 RR, SPC UCA, and deavers.

I wanted to know if any of you have ran into issues with doing this while under warranty especially since I will probably regear to 4.88. If not, I’m looking to and have saved to do this work and buy everything but I don’t want something to happen to the truck and toyota won’t cover it because of the suspension and tires. I know the warranty says if it has something to do with the issue then they won’t cover it, but I’m wondering how often they tend to connect the suspension work to any issue to not cover it?

Let me know what you all have experienced.

    Thank you

If its directly related to the mod, like gear howling, 4x4 engagement issues, clunking etc. It will be declined.

Powertrain, and drivetrain up to the transfer case will not be affected. They do not void warranties.

I had to decline 4x4 warranty work on a re-geared front and rear locked truck a few years back, the owner was pissed, but he was trying every dealer in the city.

Toyota will almost certainly not cover anything to do with the suspension or driveline, potentially including the transfer case and transmission.

I just waited till my warranty was up (or almost up) then i tossed on mods. It will make sure you appreciate all the mods you add later and save some money on gas in the meantime haha.

No, go ahead and do what you want.

Lifting and regearing wont deny you issues with door locks, or timing chain, etc. Don't worry.
