warranty issues w/ lift kits

anyone on here with a 6 inch lift have any trouble getting warranty work done on your truck. I was told that as long as you dont swap gears then you still have your full warranty. any comments on that?

 

I lifted my truck and have warrenty work done on it...

 

it honestly depends on your dealership
the magnuson-moss warranty act protects you from a lot of BS but it's still better to check with the dealership

 

They can only deny the warranty work if they can prove that the suspension mods directly led to the failure of the part.

 

Moss Maggusson covers it. If the mods you do cause the failure you are on the hook. If it's not related- You are good to go.

Even swapping gears shouldn't void your warranty if the engine has issues or the electronics.
