Warranty

is there a way to extend your warranty before it expires? I have 2 months left was just wondering? if there's a way if so with who and around how much dose it cost.thank you.

You can actually buy an extended warranty through places other than your dealer. I don't have a link but I know there was a dealer in the midwest who offered the cheapest and many TW members have brought through her. IIRC its was on average like $1200 for the 10year?

Yeah, a bunch of members here have bought Toyota factory extended warranties (aka VSA - vehicle service agreements) from Wolverine Toyota in Michigan (I think that’s where they are). You don’t have to buy the warranty from the dealer that you purchased the truck from, and lots of people have verified Wolverine. Last time I saw a price list from there, it was about $1300 for a 10 year/100K full warranty (not just the powertrain). You have until your original 3 year/36K warranty is up to extend it.

 

mine was only a 2 year 36k

Of all the new vehicles I've bought, I did buy one for my 2018 4Runner. It was much less through her than what my dealer wanted. I also contacted her for my 2019 Tacoma, but didn't go through with it.​

Back when i bought my truck the 10 year warranty was $1700. Call car shield, their always looking for pigeons.

 

I actually just got done purchasing mine from Jennifer at Wolverine and she was great to deal with. Just shoot her an email and she’ll reply within a day or two. She also just transferred to their Lexus dealership but can still sell Toyota warranties.

 

We can't buy factory extended warranties here in FL. The SE Toyota Distributors mafia would send their boys out to rough us up.

 

so if my radio goes out or my motor and tranny blow up they will fix it under warranty?

 

I bought from Jennifer at Wolverine Toyota a few months back 1300 and change no deductible out to 100,000 miles 2019 Tacoma.

 

Is the warranty bumper to bumper like the 3yr-36k mile warranty or just powertrain?
