I have been interested in the 4720 steps for a 2016 Tacoma DCSB. Is it okay to purchase the product at Morris 4x4 to fit my vehicle ?

I bought Jeep seats from Morris a few years ago. Had an 81CJ7 for 10 years so I am more familiar with Warrior than most of the popular Toyota mod brands.

Ordered the steps. The square and round slider look should be a nice design for the 2016. Got an awesome price with free delivery.

    My first mod coming soon.

I got my Warrior side step bars Cross country in 7 days. I put them on a little while back, but just got around to taking some pictures on my 2016 SR5. I like how the steps function for the shorties in my life and appreciate the Road Warrior look of the design.

These bars hit the sweet spot between sliders and running boards. I like that the bars do not sit below the axle and fill in the gap where a rocker panel could go.

Lots of guys checking out the steps around the beach here. I think my area has hit the max saturation level of drop hoop steps.

I also posted in a few 3rd gen forums, felt like something fresh needed to be displayed.

Currently I'm in the market for a ladder rack, but am leaning towards a headache rack. Not finding much yet for the 2016. Hint. Hint.

Do you know if the side steps will fit on an access cab truck? I know a lot of the guys say that the frames are the same from a double cab to an access cab. Id hate to order them and they not fit. Thanks!

How do you feel these side steps will hold up to years on the beach? I live in the northeast and am looking for side steps/sliders that will hold up against the harsh Winters and road salt.

    Are these powder-coated?

Pm'd. We will update this when we have confirmed.

They should hold up very well. Warrior's Tacoma Side Steps are first coated in a zinc primer, which is baked on, and then powder-coated black. This double coating really improves the the rust resistance and improves the step's longevity. Road salt is always an issue for anything that has the ability to rust, but giving them a quick rinse after a lengthy exposure will definitely prolong your step's life.

Edit: And if you have any issues, Warrior is happy to work with you from a customer service standpoint. We want to make sure our customers are satisfied with our products and we will always stand behind them.

Does anyone else have any photos of the side steps on their Tacoma?

Quick question @WarriorProducts! Have you considered developing a cap mounted platform rack modeled after the 4860 for those of us with truck caps? This would be a very nice option to have given the quality of the 4860. I have a '14 DCLB and think it would look sick to have both a 4860 and similarly modeled cap rack, let's call it the 4860X, on the truck...not to mention the tons of extra gear that could be carried.

Warrior does manufacture 'Universal' style mounts that would absolutely work for this application. Currently available in 2″ and 4″ tall models so that you can choose the best height for your application. These universal mounts affix the popular Warrior Products Platform Roof Rack to hard tops, vehicle roofs, canopies, trailer surfaces, and more. The unique universal mount design allows for the platform rack system to maintain a level surface – even when the mounts are affixed on a curved/angled roof. Drilling is required for installation when mounting the base; however, the base and tower are attached by a single bolt and the connection is isolated by polyurethane bushings. This allows for a robust connection that will pivot to accommodate curved and angled roof surfaces, and also allow easy removal of the platform by simply removing one bolt per tower. The base stays attached so that the drilled holes in the mounting surface remain sealed.

What is the static weight capacity of the bed rack? With a RTT and a couple of people I'm guessing that would be pushing it for the factory bed rails?

Static weight capacity is 600 lbs when you use the included spreader/tie bar. The mounts of the #4810 do a good job of spreading the load across the entire bed rails.

Edit: If you want to increase that static weight capacity, you can purchase an additional #4811 Tie Bar.

I'm not a fan of steps on trucks, but I have been very pleased with my steps from WarriorProducts!

I really like these and have been kicking them around. When I took my nerf bars off I broke one bolt on either side. Rust really took hold there. Do you remember off-hand if these take more than one bolt at each mounting point? Basically I don't know if I can install these with those broken bolts.
