    I wonder why US special forces use Japanese trucks? Seems a little weird,no? Why not Ford's, Chevy's or Dodge's? Just curious, that's all.

    I enjoyed the top gear episode, it confirmed what I already knew - Toyota trucks are built tough.

    My decision to buy a Toyota truck was made back in 1983 when my buddy bought a brand new Toyota 4x4, he owned it for close to 20 years - I told myself after riding in it that if I ever needed a truck it would be a Toyota 4x4. Another friend uses Tacomas for work, he's had 4 - he puts 500,000 on them and then sells them and gets a new one. He's never had to replace more than a clutch and alternator on any of them.

    Of course I bought a Toyota 4x.
