Aloha all, I do believe this is a first time post or at the very least a long time in between! Anywho, just replaced my windshield washer reservoir tank. Did a trial run with a little bit of fluid to make sure it didn't leak before I put it back in and all seemed well. Put it back in, installed the shield and refilled to top. That's when the level sensor grommet/bushing/gasket started gushing! Figures.

So a question. I've been all over the Internet auto part sites and can't seem to find this grommet. Any help greatly appreciated. Mahalo...pete

I would try one of the universal "cut a gasket" material.

I have never seen the option that has a fluid level sensor.

Must have started after 2000 .

Is it a rubber grommet just where does it go ??

I only ever changed the pumps and new grommets come with the pump.

    Would a O ring work ??

    What holds the sensor in??

It came as part of a cold weather package. The truck spent the first thirteen years in northern Idaho. It's earned some time in the sun! Anywho the sensor fits smack dab in the bottom of the tank and is bedded into a grommet type thingie. The replacement tank came with a new grommet for the pump but not the sensor. I may just silicone it in and call it good. I have a few calls into Toyota dealerships and not getting very far.

When I pull the assembly out again I'll take a pic to better illustrate. Thanks for the replies.
