I need help and I’m completely frustrated. I have tried everything. I removed the washer motor and connected power directly to it and it works. The fuse is good and I’m getting power to the motor but when I connect it nothing happens. I also checked the wiper switch lever and I have power there. What am I missing??

The lines might be plugged. Remove it along the way and try to move air through it.

The y pipe on the hood can jam up.

I cleared all the lines. The motor doesn’t turn on but if I disconnect it and run direct power it works. Once I plug it back in it doesn’t work. I checked power at the motor connection and at the wiper lever, I have power. Fuse is also good.

If you are getting power to the motor as you say then it should work unless the connector is somehow bad.

You may have to remove the terminals from the washer motor connector and tighten them up.

This is why I’m frustrated. I checked the connector and I know I’m getting power.

The other terminal of the connector should have no resistance to ground when checked with an ohmmeter.
