WASHINGTON STATE MEET

I am down if I am home and its not in northern Wa. I am down in Vancouver and dont feel like driving through Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, and Everett for some wheeling, but anywhere mid washington, east or west I am game.

 

Last weekend we went here. During the winter there isn't much else.

 

I've said a few times that i'd like to join you guys when you do a meet at TSF/Browns Camp. A Camping/Wheelin weekend would be best for these situations. It is a good 4 hour drive to get there for me.

 

I am game for anywhere from mid washington to mid oregon and most places east & west of portland.

Well, lets make it happen. I'm just waitin for it to quit snowing. I think its done now.

Reiter used to be popular because of the variety of terrain, something for everyone. But now that it's closed, we have limited options.

Tahuya is fun, but not that challenging. A spring event there is always fun.

Evan's Creek this summer would be a good gathering spot, or perhaps the Naches area. We will likely be doing a bit of all of the above.

 

I think the beach would be fun (Long Beach or Pac Beach) and would yield some cool pictures if we got a bunch of tacos to show up... has anyone suggested that yet?

 

A bunch of us did Ocean Shores one time. It was fun, but unless you are a kite freak like me, there's not much to do once you are there. You can park on the beach, but you can't drive in the dunes and you can't really "play" with the trucks in the sand.

Another suggestion would be the Grant County ORV. It's a bit of a drive, but those dunes are incredible fun. There's camping as well as hotels and lots of places to eat. I don't think I could agree with this more. I absolutely love going out to the coast to play on the beach, fly kites and surf, but there's isn't much you can do with the trucks other than take pictures.

Moses Lake is about the same distance as the coast and is a lot of fun to explore. I think that would be a great place to meet and play.

And, not trying to hate because I think the idea is great, but that nwtoys site is PAINFUL to browse.

KITE FLYIN' AND TACO DRIVIN' FREAKS UNITE!!!

I really want to get the Prism 1.4 or 1.9! Those things look awesome! I also have an old "Spider" stunt kite that I take out to Mukilteo (right by the ferry) from time to time. And there's always that crab place (the Crab Pot I think it's called) mmm!

 

I would still love meet up too bad i sold my wheelin' truck a few weeks back. And too bad Reiter's is closed. But either way my new Truck still needs a mud paint job.

 

Haha yeah reiters used to be a great place for wheelin i used to get stuck there countless times. Im down for anywhere in the northwest.
