A tell tale sign, especially the Craig’s list scams, is if the body of the message starts with “hello”. That’s all it takes for me to know it’s a scam. Then the unusual, broken English is icing on the cake. If I’m in the mood I may exchange emails with them, just to get their hopes up and then I call them on it. They never respond after that so that further enforced my suspicion.

i saw a trailer on craigslist the other day and the girl selling it gave the same bullshit story about the ebay warehouse. I told her I could smell a scam a mile away and never heard from her again.

I fell for a credit card scam one time, but I was able to get my money back. The guys that run the scam are the owners of Lone Star 4x4. Don't buy shit from those guys. They basically told me they were a credit consolidation service (which now I think any of that shit is a scam) but anyway he charged me like 800 bucks for his "service" i just fucking did a chargeback on his ass and got my money back. When I looked at my credit card statement, the charges were coming from Lone Star 4x4 in Texas.

I either get a phone call scam daily or see several ads on Craigslist.... This happened today...While driving my tacoma I received a call from MICROSOFT, yeah right... Guy ask if I remember taking out some policy awhile back, I say sure, I already know whats next... So he ask if I am at my computer, I say sure I am. Next he ask me to hold a couple of keys down so he can get into my system. I tell him I did and then tell him he won't believe what just happened on my computer. He says what happened?? I say its a picture of your mother sucking a donkies d^%$, I can't believe it he hangs up on me....The nerve of that guy....lol...

The tell tale mark of a scam is always the poor grammar and sentence structure. You'd think if these idiots were smart they'd at least have someone fluent in English proofread their scam for them before posting
