I'm not a fan of small turbos in trucks. Its a nice truck and all but 60k+?

Ford has been brilliant with marketing lately.

Hope this turns out to be awesome.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
Oh, looky there! Another Ford experiment thrown out for the public to oooh and ahhh and ultimately test at their own ridiculous expense and when it goes to shit, and it will, they'll be left holding the bag when Ford tries the next tyhing on their magic list. Ford truly has become the King of hype.

The biggest problem i have with my tacoma is the low power and gear searching. I should not have to spend $2600 to fix the gear issue and $7000 for a supercharger to up the power.

There's just something about the way the rangers look that I absolutely hate and I can't put my finger on it. I don't know if its just the dimensions of the truck or something but it just looks...stumpy? Like someone took a truck and shrunk it down but it got stretched in a weird way...

They perform really well, I test drove a 2.4L ecoboost Ranger and it was impressive. I'm just considering the longevity and reliability, the turbos tend to fail and/or leak coolant right around when the warranty is up. Maybe I'm just getting old

Do you put 150k on a vehicle before replacing it? I've never put 100k on any vehicle i've owned. I know a lot of guys don't live in the mile high club but power matters for us lol

Oil catch can will fix the biggest problems.

My daily driver before I bought my Tacoma in January was a 1995 Ford Bronco(bought it new) with 280k on it. Before that it was a 1985 Toyota pickup, also bought new, had 296k on it when I sold it. So I guess I hold on to my vehicles awhile lol

That is a few miles lol. I don't hate my tacoma i really do love it but Friday going over a pass at 12,000 feet and driving between 10 and 11k my foot was hitting the blacktop to make her go. How long will the 3.5 hold up to running 5 to 6 k rpms all day. The 4.0 had better torque.
