Watcha wearing?

Thanks. Lum is pretty good and supposedly has a titanium bezel. Specs are subject to maybe maybe not. All in all great watch for 60 beans.

 

Nothing but Apple watches for the last few years. I miss wearing different watches like I used to but the Apple watch is too good of a solution. Finally they satisfied my need for something different...

 

this will likely be my next investment paired with some nato straps. I love this Sinn model.

 

I like it as well... but that's a 3:45 crown.

 

It's solid as a rock. Looks great, feels really well made, is highly legible, and yet isn't a big hulking beast. Can not speak highly enough about it.....unless you actually want to be able to read the date. Good luck.

 

Cracked open the back to see what actual movement was in there and did it have an actual gasket.. TMI NH35a. Aka Seiko and it did have the gasket under the screw down back... couldn't really tell if the screw down crown did. But I would assume so as surprisingly they seem to have not bs'd the specs...

 

Not a bad buy if under $100

 

60 beans otd.... hard to beat that... some times aliexpress has sales like 2 or 3 x a year and they can be had for that....

 

Thats a steal. You would be hard pressed for get the movement itself for $50 in the US

 

I lean towards vintage watches because they're generally smaller, thinner, and have less "wrist presence". I'm not a big guy and my wrist is a 6.75". In my little collection this watch is the exception to the rule. Absolutely love it. Pics never do the gilt justice and I've given up on getting a great photo but this one ain't bad :

I don't see a lot of Oris love. I'll be honest, the I wear an Apple Watch most days now though. I've become accustomed to the light weight of it over my traditional wrist watches.

 

I like to keep it simple. I wear the Casio 90% of the time, but pull out the Sinn for church, dates, and if I have to go to the office. If it’s a very special occasion, I put the metal band on the Sinn that originally came with it.
