My 556 is my go to more often than not as well. Love that watch and sing its praises whenever possible. I wanted the red seconds hand but I bought mine while in Germany and they didn't have one in stock. I just couldn't see leaving the company's country of origin without buying my 556. No regrets, they're all fabulous. Take care.

Pretty sweet watches out there. I am into smartwatches. Great extension of my phone and can also be used independent of my phone. Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
I designed this watch face and many others. I prefer analog over digital. This is one of my personal favs.

Runs about +15 per day real world as compared to my cell phone time…..which is close enough for a beater watch… not sure if there is an adjustment but as I said is close enough.

I like the band considering and Was curious how much watch you got for $25….now I know.

Of course I don’t have this watch but it is highly impressive

    Vacheron Constantin Celestia
    https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/v...astronomical-grand-complication-3600-in-depth

Day date time, tides (mareoscope), lunar month, sunrise sunset, equinoxes and solstices , day/ night indicator, actual solar day and of course a star map for the owners location on the exhibition back.

not to mention the ones I probably missed

Here’s a chinese copy of seiko 6105. The copy is better than the original in that it uses a modern Seiko 23 jewel self winding movement instead of 17 jewel Seiko. Just for giggles hop on over to eBay and see what original early to mid 70s seiko divers are bringing. In some cases more than the Rolex. The 6105 was the first mass produced divers watch 1967 as 6217 and sold by the thousands to American soldiers in Vietnam. You can catch a glimpse of it on Martin Sheen in apocalypse now. The chinese copy makes a great daily that you can not worry about because it only set you back about 100 bucks. Retro 70s on a budget.

I think I'm going to pickup one of these for my father in law as a Christmas gift. He is hard on watches and an expensive watch is a waste. Surprisingly the Casio MDV I got him has lasted him over a year.
