Yup they all say it on the back now too. My favorite speed master is the moon to mars version with planets in the subdials

Meaningful is it. My Rolexes will be passed on to my sons someday. And I wear them so they will associate them with me when they and someday later their sons' (hopefully) wear them. I bought them with them being passed on for generations in mind.

That’s what my dad did/does. One of my omegas and my seiko turtle were his. The turtle is near and dear to my heart because he got it when he was in high school and wore it almost every day from then on until I turned 18

I wear a Tag Heure Formula one and an Ecodrive. The Tag needs replacing as it has been my day to day and work watch for years. I think the band on it is worth as much as I paid for the Ecodrive.

when I was in high school my grandma was US Immigration working at the soviet era Moscow embassy. She brought back a Russian navy divers watch for me, wind up style. It was cool until I was swimming in a river and noticed it had water in it. LOL maybe it was a knock off. Another weird thing, sometimes I'd put it on my wrist and it would stop ticking. Take it off and it would start again. Put it on someone elses wrist and it ticked. TWILIGHT ZONE.

Yup, wear 'em. Scratches be damned. Passing on something they rarely saw out of the safe doesn't have the same sentimental value. Send them here for service when needed - http://timecareinc.com/index.html. The mans' work is outstanding. First time I used him I thought he threw my watch out and sent me a new one.

Yes. His credentials are on hie website. He was highly recommended on TheRolexForum. Many members use him rather than Rolexs' factory service.
