    The appearance was a large part of why I bought this. I'm not a huge fan of watches with rotating clicky bezels and this one isn't a huge watch either so it fits that perfect in-between space. I actually wasn't intending to buy this that day, but when I went in, I initially wanted to look at the Mondaine stop-2-go electric watches that simulate the minute hand jumping like the clocks at the Swiss Railway stations. Thought, oh 400 dollars is too much, let's look around some more, ended up buying this for like 600 dollars instead. Oops :spending:

    Today's watch is a Citizen Eco-Drive Nighthawk that at one point I managed to lose in Finland while on the night train to the Arctic Circle. Apparently, lost and found is a nationalized service there for ferries, buses, railroads, etc. And they managed to get this back to me after two months returning to the US and 30€ less from my wallet. This usually is my beater when I travel, the crystal definitely ought to be replaced but it's part of its character still for now.
