4 watches, 2 hours of soaking in a light solution of dish soap. Will leave them overnight & hit with an old toothbrush in the morning. This always makes me wonder why I don't remember to clean them more often :puke:

    Tissot t-touch Take 2
I found the tissot t-touch in a sky mall magazine on a flight to Russia in 2003. As a fan of ABC (altitude barometer compass) watches this touch screen watch caught my eye. The idea of touch screen was very new at the time and so I pointed it out to my mom. Fast forward a year later and she had found a legitimate used model on EBay. This was her gift to me along with the title to my GMC pickup for my 21st. I had many issues with the t-touch over the years with the buttons losing action and the touch screen losing its sensitivity. I sent it for repair twice under warranty then it sat for 5 years until my 35th bday. About a year ago she offered to get me another nice watch. I instead took the original to a fine watch shop in Denver. Turns out tissot had been unable to continue producing parts for the original t-touch. They had an upgrade program and they offered to upgrade to the new model for the price of 100 bucks. It is a larger case than the original but has all the same functions. And they were able to get a v2 in the silver face like my v1. This watch while not the original I received seems to have been a better timepiece than the original v1 ever was. I cant recommend a tissot to anyone based on my experience with the v1 but I could be swayed the other way soon if this model is better. The upgrade program was a solid option unless you are sentimental about it.

I have several other regular non "smart" Fossil watches with no issues, really like the brand, but maybe I'll continue my research, ty

New company so not much of a track record. Site says Made in America. I don't have a problem buying watches manufactured in Asia with Asian or Swiss movements, but throwing some foreign made parts together and calling the finished product American made is bullshit.

For the money, I think there are better choices. Nice looking though.

Don't know your budget, but I'd look at Hamilton or Seiko as far as brands go for a proven quality watch at a reasonable price. Not a diver watch guy myself so have no idea if either of those brands have the style you're looking for. I just tend to go with more established brands.

It's very easy to start a watch company now a days. Look at MVMT. Cheap Chinese watches with a ton of marketing.

Picked this beauty up this week. Seiko Presage SPB0391 J1. Discontinued (I think) model in the Presage line. Sadly I don’t love how it looks on my wrist so it’s up for sale. PM me for more details/photos and price. Still have all the tags, boxes, and manual. Like brand new.

You're not wrong! And I need to get a watch case that winds my 2 automatics, and has a USB outlet for the smart watch to charge. Ugh. Who's seen my money tree?!
