My Dad's '82 Seiko diver. He was a USAF fighter pilot. This watch has been supersonic a bunch of times. My stepmom gave it to me after he passed a couple of years ago. I wear it often.

I do!! Can you add aps onto the face such as tides. I don't want the surf version but I am looking for a ride reading for surfing / fishing.

So far, I don't see a tide function. The closest would be moon phase, but not tides. At least, according to the manual in pdf form, I searched for the word tide and there was no hits.

ya only one i found to have a tide was the phoenix or the surf edition. i would buy the surf one but its not in black.... idk why they wouldn't put that color for it. and the phoenix are insanely priced.

I like my waf1110. I'd really like it on leather band as the metal one doesn't excite me and I'll never actually dive with this watch. I say go for it. Tags are nice

 

I agree. Tags are nice and if you like the styling you can't go wrong. I've been eyeing Monacos for a couple of years now. Might be my next watch purchase. Either way have fun!

 

I like the all black but also don’t know how it will actually look in person.... don’t want it to look bland being all black either

 

That watch dresses up nice but also works well with a pair of boots and blue jeans. Not sure what you normally like but the limited edition is not why I'd get it....

 

This is what I’m looking for. I’m new to the watch scene so is the limited edition kinda not really limited edition? Or what’s the whole thing about that?
