I usually run seafoam through the gas tank once or twice a year. But if i'm going to take the time to clean the TB i might as well do it right. For the TB gaskets would it be better to use rtv blue or black? I put all new fluids, spark plugs, and spark plug wires in not to long ago. I'm running Denso Platinum spark plugs, bwd wires, and Castrol GTX High Mileage oil. Truck is a 2000 and it has 227,674 miles on it had 120,000 when i got it in 2003.

I get 15 mpg on average and in winter using High 4 the mpg seems to be better actually and more torque in cold weather.

Just thought of this. With all the water coming out of the exhaust pipe wouldn't that be a possible cause for the o2 sensor to throw codes?

O2 sensor and air fuel sensor just had the exact same issue and code reading. Order Denso's from Amazon cheaper than from the parts store.

i cant check the codes apparently when i fixed the intake last night its keeping the check engine light off for now. Also SoutheastTaco said most likely be a bad canooter h20 bypass valve? ive asked all kinds of people and part stores and nobody even heard of one of those. so what is it?

It's a device that is up on the left part of the firewall. Next to the Flux Capacitor.

I know i dont know much about vehicles ive only been learning mechanics for 6 or 7 years now but i know enough to know whats true and whats not. There is no such thing as a h20 bypass valve and about the flux capacitor my truck is a 2000 tacoma bot a 1960's delorean. Get your facts straight or dont reply to my thread.

That was my way of telling you someone was pulling your leg. The condensation is normal when burning gasoline in the correct air/fuel mixture. :)
