I'm still having the water but I took a better look at the whole exhaust system and the water is actually coming from the front of the muffler and dripping all the way down the pipe on the outside. About 5 years ago my truck was taken to a shop to replace the cat and muffler and they used a lil bit of the stock exhaust. Welded the cat and a smaller muffler on charged over $500 bucks and said that was the way it should be.

Water comming out of your exhaust tip is normal. That is not normal. Sounds like your exhaust is leaking in front of your muffler??? You have any pics?

I don't have pics at the moment I will soon. Ya its leaking pretty good out the front of the muffler on the bottom where the weld on the pipe to muffler is. I'd have it taken to a guy that does exhaust work but I'm broke. I want dual exhaust on my truck he'll do it. stainless steel for $200 bucks labor but I gotta buy parts like cats and mufflers. Unemployed at the moment been trying to get back into detailing cars and trucks I've done it professionally.

Also as far as leaf springs go would there be anything compatible at a junkyard for my truck? Its almost impossible to find my truck in a junkyard I have checked all over colorado especially denver no luck. My leaf springs are flat with maybe a negative arc on both springs so the rear end looks an inch or 2 lower than the front without anything in the bed.

you should fix the codes first.

There are no codes now since I fixed the air intake and cleaned the MAF sensor. No check engine light so I can't get a code reading. Will clean throttle body and new gasket soon also to make sure. The water problem is gonna have to wait til it gets warm and I get some money saved up to redo the whole exhaust system. I don't like the way that shop put the exhaust back together but that was put on a long time ago. Can't do anything bout that now. Biggest issue is money in which all I can do for now is brake rotors and pads alone is a $200 job. Those are my priority at the moment. If I had a picture of my rotors up you would see how bad they are. Rotors are not supposed to have a curved outward lip on the outside edge. No more cheap rotors.

Water is not an issue. Water comming out of your exhaust before the muffler is but thats only a few minutes of weld to close a hole the tech missed. Shouldnt be very expensive.

So i just gotta talk to a welder i know one that can fix it cheap maybe even for nothing. My friends brother is a welder lives here in town ill see what he says. Just a temporary fix anyway i'm going to make it dual exhaust like i was saying in one of the previous messages. Just need cat. con., mufflers, and $200 he'll take care of the rest. I would like true dual exhaust 2 cats, 2 cherry bomb mufflers, 2.5 inch pipes out to 3 inch tips. Should sound pretty nice.

should be like <10 bucks to weld up any small holes.. if it's rotted, you may need to buy a piece of pipe to have them weld in.

Exhaust has no rust so it should just be a quick fix. Today I replaced the brake rotors, pads, hardware, seafoam, and cleaned the throttle body. Very dirty I'm glad I caught that. No check engine light. Also went ahead and replaced the stock air filter with a k&n that just fits the stock air box.

I know I’m notorious for starting up old threads. Better than starting new ones I guess. Does putting in a higher airflow filter such as K&N make your engine run cooler in turn causing more condensation in exhaust system?
