    I install those closed heaters all the time and never had a problem with them you just gotta get the right one Bradford white is a good one. Thats the only one I install. Or you could get a tankless one takigo or something like that was the one that was in my parents house and we never had a problem with it

    Since you have gas, get a tankless. Rinnai is supposedly the best. I've installed quite a few of then
