Have you had the third brake light apart? The seal needs to be set just right or they leak....

I had the truck to my local dealer yesterday. They told me that the rear window needs to be resealed by a glass company. Toyota is going to cover this under what they are calling a goodwill warrnety.

Is there something besides the rubber gasket between the glass and body? Is the rubber gasket defective? Not really understanding how this could be fucked by factory to begin with....oh wait, yes I can see how haphazard assembly could have occurred, they're not really Japanese anymore.............FTL. :(

Goodwill warranty? It's there god damned problem to begin with. No window should leak on a 1 or 2 year old truck unless it was replaced by someone that didn't do it right. It should be fixed under the regular warranty. I hate when they say shit like "Goodwill". They should own up to it without trying to make you feel like they are doing you a favor to fix their problem.

Well, they do state in advance that the warranty expires at 36K miles. I'd love to see all the manufacturers switch to unlimited mileage warranties, but not gonna happen. Even Toyota doesn't offer it anymore (my parents had a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty on their '85 Camry...and with the mileage my Mom put on it in real estate...I think the warranty expired at around 150K miles or so).
