There is a little piece behind the backside of the water pump by the thermostat housing that has two studs with nuts on them holding this looks like something to do with the heater core on there it is leaking. Can anyone tell me what it might be possibly?

It wouldn’t be my first choice.
If it’s all you can find, then it will work.
I wouldn’t want to mix them, so I’d do my best to get all the old out.

If you have an O’reliys close, I’d get the Zerex Pink Asian coolant.
I think Peak even makes one now?

I understand I have seen that some people that you can cut that water bypass metal hose and put a rubber piece in between the two ends instead of taking the whole intake off to replace it, is there any pressure blowing through that line?

I have the upgraded metal water bypass pipe. One guy said you can just cut it and put a bad a nine or 10 inch piece of half-inch rubber hose with two hose clamps on and fish it through behind the intake instead of having to take me and taking everything all apart, would that be recommended? Is there any major pressure on that line because I know if you cut that metal pipe there is no barb on the end of the pipe. It would just be smooth, and I did not know if they would blow that rubber hose off or not

Some pics would help us give you the best advice

I wouldn't mess around with rubber hose and clamps. If the metal line is leaking replace it. Is it leaking at the end where the gasket is?

I was replacing the factory plastic line with a new metal line, but someone had commented saying you could cut that long spray, part out of the metal line and attach a rubber hose on it and feed it through behind the intake and then reattach it at the end by the firewall, so you would have to pull the intake and everything off to replace it
