Hey everyone having a problem.so I’ve noticed water soaking my carpet when I wash the truck or it rains.so I was told to take my interior door panel off and see where the water is coming from.so I did just that and (all parts I’m talking about have all been replaced oem parts)
Water is coming from the door handle and the middle weather stripping piece and I’m spraying water with the door open and window up.so my question is water supposed to me coming in the door like that with all the drain holes in the bottom of the door does make sense but it shouldn’t be soaking my floor.having same prob on passenger side as well.but if I’m on flat ground I have no problem only on a somewhat hill if anyone has any idea pls let me know thanks

Yes...water comes in the doors...thats why that plastic liner (vapor Barrier)is glued to the door.

Yes liner is on the door.and I’ve done that already with door shut is well.the water comes from the straight weatherstripping seal and door handle then water rolls over my door seals to my carpet.have replaced door seals as well oem

Any water getting past the vapor barrier is going to leak inside the door panel..if it gets in the door panel, its coming inside...Unless the drains are clogged and filling the door up.

Ok,looks like the first pic is from inside the door...thats normal. You have to shut the door, get somebody to wet the door while you watch it from inside.any water coming though that liner,or through the metal part of the inner door has to be stopped..no water should be coming outside the barrier.
