So, I have an access cab TRD OR, and this is what happens when it rains really hard or it rains for 24 hours plus. If it's a short light shower, it stays dry.

Above, before seal replaced. Dealer replaced the drivers door seal twice to try to stop the water leak. These pics are after the seal was replaced.

It is only the driver door, the passenger side stays dry. The water runs to the inside of the door, runs down between the plastic door interior and the inner metal frame, like where our electronics would be and is to the inside of the door seal on the bottom of the door. If I don't open the driver door for several hours or even the next day, when I do open it, you can hear where the water pools inside the door and runs out the bottom where it's supposed to drain out, and it doesn't drain out until the door is opened.
When I took it back to the dealer after making another appointment, per a FTS, they checked and took a picture of another access cab on the lot that does the same and concluded it is normal for the access cab trucks.
I'm very skeptical, as I know that water pooling anywhere for any amount of time is conducive to rust and I don't want a rusted out door panel in a couple of years. I have never had any vehicle ever leak onto the sills. I'm thinking about running a bead of silicone along the top of the door seal where it sits on the door to keep water from getting in the door. Any suggestions, and anyone else have this issue? Thanks for any input!

Is it getting into the window seal and going through the door panel?

There's a small amount of water that will make it pass the window sweep. It will exit the door through the weep holes at the bottom of the door....possibly showing a couple of drops on the sill.

What you see is perfectly normal. Nothing wrong with your truck.

Ok. If you look at your photo. The seal is between where the water is and the inside of your truck. If you wash your truck or drive in the rain, the area where the water spot is (in your photo) will be wet, but inside of where the seal is will be dry. Your truck looks normal to me.

Yes, it drains fine from the weep holes, which is normal. But is it normal for water to run between the plastic panel and metal door inside the seal? In photo 2 that water is coming out behind the plastic panel. If this is normal then great, I won't think about it again. I've never seen any car do this before though, so it leaves me wondering.

This. Seems to me like nothing is wrong here. I see that little bit of water all the time on mine and have never thought anything of it. All normal, nothing to worry over imo

I see nothing in your pix that looks abnormal or gives any pause to worry about.

Also make sure it's not just dripping off the top of the door when you open it, but it looks fine

I have a 2022 4 door Tacoma and it does the same thing. Like Riding Dirty, I have never seen water on the door seal like that......ever.

I also have this small issue, on my 23' trd offroad dcsb. Small drips on all doors between the plastic and seal. More prominent on passenger front. But it seems a lot of people have the same symptoms. So is debunked to be a normal thing?

I have this on mine. Looks exactly the same. Was concerned at first since I've never had any vehicle I've ever driven before do this. But it seems normal for the Tacoma. Not sure what to say really, but I expected more out of Toyota to be honest.

Has it ever reached the point of entering your cabin?
Has it ever reached the point of entering your cabin? Or have you always had this issue and how long have you had it? I noticed even in carwashes that it also does it on my 23' dcsb. Concerns me a little bit but just need reassurance that its pretty much normal lol.

Yours was also weeping out of the door panel? Or did you just saw drips on on your door sill?
