I have a 2004 Tacoma PreRunner and I’ve notice some coolant leaking around the engine and traced it back to the water outlet after taking off the timing belt cover and I’m pretty sure something happened to the gasket. I thought it would be an easy replacement but, issue is apart of the fuel rail is perfectly in the way (pictures attached)! Does anyone have any experience with this or know any ways of getting to the water outlet without messing with the fuel system?

I've replaced the thermostat in my Tacomas a few times over the last 30 years and never had a problem with the clearance between the fuel pipe and the water pipe. The fuel pipe doesn't appear to be rubbing anything in your photos either. Maybe wiggle the water pipe around a little??? :notsure:

Even if you have to remove the fuel line connecting the two fuel rails, it should be pretty easy. You'll need four of these 90430-12026 to replace the crush washers / gaskets, and just check the torque spec on the banjo bolts.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
What I do is crack the right side loose remove the left banjo bolt rotate fuel line to the right out of the way.

Fix water outlet as needed put back together. Never had any issues

I have never had one of those leak have you double checked with a pressure tester ??
