My Nephew called me last week about his 2001 Tacoma 3.4L broke down on the way to work. So I go out and look at it and then called a tow truck to have it towed to my house. Took the timing belt cover off and it was not pretty. The top side of the belt was melted and the center bearing pulley had come apart. There were 2 ball bearings melted into the timing belt cover. Got it apart and i could not turn the water pump. So after changing everything i wanted to change the hose coming of the water pump but the parts stores didn't know what it was as I. So when to dealer and they ordered me a bypass hose which came in the next day but was not the right hose. So after researching on the net i found out that it was the oil cooler hose Part Number 15788-62030.
