Water Storage: Perfect fit cans for behind rear seats

Had to share this find. It's almost like these containers were designed for the storage space behind the rear seats in double cabs. On the driver side, I cut out the little lip in the bottom of the storage area (took 1 minute with a little flexible flush cut saw). After that, it fits like a glove. I do need to push the seat backrest just a bit more firmly to latch it in place, but I like that - the plastic flexes just a tiny bit and keeps the can from rattling. On the passenger side it fits with no modification and no flexing of plastic. The one I got is made by

Digury, but there are several manufacturers selling what looks like the exact same thing under different names on Amazon in OD green, tan or black - all in the $25-$30 range. Search for "2.6 gallon water container", but be careful - there's a 3.2 gallon version that looks almost identical but will not fit. I'm ordering a second one now... 20 liters/5 gallons of water behind the seats with room to spare is nothing to sneeze at.
