Here’s the shower head attachment I made it’s flow rate is 1.6gpm at 80psi.....So not sure how much that will drop at 10psi but I would think my 3.5 gallons of water should give me around a 4-5 min shower ..... also it has a on and off button so you can get wet turn it off soap up and then on and rinse

Nicely done. A lot nicer than holding the hose/shower head. I need to make a better shower head setup for mine. I just use a hose with a shower head. Even with the travel trailer Im building, I plan to keep my solar heater for when I am out working in the dust.

Here is my water/shower/base camp setup. Just got back from a week in Moab and a 2nd week in CO.

Little hard for the taco to pull my toyhauler lol.... This is more for quick weekend adventures where this won’t go.... and our last Death Valley loop was around a 200mile trip.... in one way and out another with no backtracking so a base camp wouldn’t help me much on those kinda trips

This is a slick setup. I see you used it in a campground, what did you do for gray water recovery or do they not require it? Most campgrounds around here prohibit dumping gray water outside of designated dump stations.

We don't camp in campgrounds much... when I say that I mean probably once every couple years... honestly i didn't even consider it... the camp host came up and complimented us on the truck when we had the shower set up so I guess he didn't really care.

Yeah I think the rule applies more to dishes and food waste but was just curious if you caught any grief for it. I've used a 3' inflatable baby pool and transfer pump for water recovery before, should you ever need a solution.

That would be nice. I thought of having some custom fabricated to kind of fill in normally unused space.

Front Runner has a tank that fits in the footwell behind the front seats...holds about 10 gallons...

Wow these water storage ideas are really great. You guys can get pretty inventive. I'm gonna follow this as it is relevant to the time I spend outdoors.

So I made a heat exchanger on my on board shower, it uses the hot water of the truck to heat the shower water, works great

@jowybyo is correct. Picked it up at Sportsmans Warehouse then modified it.

5’ 4” ABS. Boiler drain valve. Bolt on Schrader valve. 30psi pop off valve.

Wrap Teflon around it. Should seal up enough to keep you happy. Did this with mine and it works great.

I wrapped a butt ton around my filler cap. Put on what you think is good, then double it.

I’ve had the cap off and on probably 50 times and it still seals well.
