isn't that what they all are...

I'll be happy with mine, because its more than I have now, and.. for the price of this that's ready to go, vs the hassle of building one myself, its worth it to me.

perfect. thats what I will be doing as well. I usually have a 5 gallon jug, but hoping to replace it with this shower. I also have 4.5 gallons for backup on the roof rack that I can refill it with, and then pressurize with the compressor. perfect for quick rinses and long camp trips. thats the only reason I'm getting it.. for camping.

From Adrian regarding loss of pressure

"There's only 2 things that cause pressure loss, too cap loose, or they are leaving the y valve open."

Or using it for more than 40 seconds. We're not talking about pressure loss over a long period of time here

I tried contacting him immediately and no response after 24 hours.

I have tried a few approachrs already.

No, the pressure is not gone at full tank. It starts very strong, weakens quickly. By 40 seconds it's not coming out with any real pressure and by 55 or so it's a trickle.

Just got mine today. I'll fill it up now and test it. What pressure did you fill it to? I'm going to do a manual fill to the top then pump the pressure to 45 psi to test it for now.

I didn't fill it using this method, no idea what pressure it was. Just filled it util the pressure regulator stopped the flow, as instructed.

    I would estimate 1/3 to 1/2 the capacity so 1 - 1.5 gallons

    Yes it is supposed to.

so has anyone come to a fix for the 40 seconds of pressure instead of the 5 showers like they said...?

Will be getting mine soon, kindof wish I had waited a little longer after seeing these comments.. I'm not expecting anything outstanding but 40-50 seconds of pressure is just not what's advertised. Will be watching thread for more people testing them.. Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences and hopefully this gets figured out. Great idea for a product and good price though!

Alright manually filled it through the top to just below the bottom of the fill valve. Used a bicycle pump to pump it to 40psi and checked it with a second pressure gauge. It was sitting on the ground and I was spraying at a height above it of about 3 feet using a nozzle I tool off my garden hose.
It ran for 1min45seconds before it was useless.

So i tested mine out today, I'm going to start this off by saying i'm pleased with my purchase and it's exactly what i wanted/needed it to be and at a good enough price point that i couldn't resist it & i'll not have to spend my free time making a DIY version(It's winter-ish and I am garage-less).

I used both methods of filling, PRV-like hose attachment, and free pouring and using a compressor/pump to pressurize the vessel.
Hose attachment worked as it should, shutting off at just about 50psi. When I used the other method, I only pressurized it to 45psi, there was only a minimal difference, if any, in flow.

As is now becoming somewhat obvious, you're not getting 5 "showers" out of it. That being said, I could absolutely bathe myself at least 5 times(efficient bird-bath style) in a long-term camping situation off of one tank. 12.5 liters is 12.5 liters, be conservative. With both methods, I got really good pressure for a bit over a minute, then slowing to a lesser flow(still going ~7meters on stream) for about 3 mins, then you lose it down to a trickle. With mid-use repressurization, the issue of pressure is resolved. Definitely enough to spray off the dogs, dishes, bikes, boots, gear, etc and it's a nice size/shape. Has convenient ridges in it that look perfect for some steel banding, which is probably how i'll mount it.

One question.. Upon the initial pressure test, there was some substantial visual expansion to the tank, just wondering if that's normal. I'm not sure what kind of bladder/container it is.
