Interested in the bed rail mounted one.

 

so I'm having issues with the cap seating on the threads for the top port and it won't allow for the tank to hold pressure. Any ideas for how to fix this? It's like the plastic threads are all wonky , maybe cross threaded i don't know. Any help would be appreciated! Is there any way to cut off the top of the thread without making the plastic worse?
Besides that, i have used this tank on camping trips and it's awesome! Showered off a dirty child and was able to use it for dishes. Ran out of water in the tank so added more via the top port since I didn't have access to a hose, and pressurized it with my air compressor. Very handy! If i had to do it over again I would have purchased the bed rail mount kit. The straps method that I created with quick fists I am not too stoked on.
Also I have a pair of XL quick fists brand new if anyone wants to buy a pair, PM me. I somehow ordered 4 instead of 2.

Hey, sorry to hear about your troubles. If Im understanding you correctly did you try un screwing the cap and then just screwing it back on with some extra torque?

Aside from that Im glad to hear its already paying for itself!

Does anyone know if it can be mounted to either side of the bed? Everything I see shows the right side and I need it on the left. Like, is there a hose port on both sides?

 

you can mount it on the left or right and i currently have mine under the rear middle window. The spout however is only on the right side so just test out the different spots and see what works for your needs while camping and such.

Yes possibly what happened. Anyway to correct it? tried applying teflon tape to the threada but it's still leaking air out the top
