have texted, pmed and called last response from him about 2 weeks ago and nothing since. Honestly I hope Skygear is ok and nothing major happened, he had pretty great communication everytime we talked which makes me worried for him. I'll just get this thing hooked up and cont to wait for my bracket and hope he is ok.
Thanks Bennett707 for answering my wiring questions last night <----hero

i know it's hard to hear, and it can be hard to say, but skygear took very good care of me and at this moment I cannot imagine he would be running off with anyone's funds. i hope he is in sound health and his family is as well, i am more than willing to help people with questions if they have a box in hand feel free to PM me. i am not an business partner of his, just a tw member willing to help if i can.

I heard from skygear after I filed a paypal dispute. In his response he said that he would be shipping a batch of boxes and plates today. I don't have conformation that he has done that but that's what he said he was going to do. I hope he does. I look forward to getting mine cause it is a great product but not even saying "hey I am having an issue getting these out need some time" Has me concerned, it would put people at ease if he did that.

I'm not worried about it. Skygear (name omitted because thats the way he prefers it *hint hint guys above^) is a stand up guy. If he says they'll be here then they'll be here. I'm sure life just kicked him in the tail or something. I just hope he's alright!

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
I seem to remember him saying it goes to the coil +.

Cliff notes of a relay's operation: a low-power coil closes the circuit for a high-power contactor. The contactor is isolated from the coil. Therefore, there are a minimum of four* wires needed for a relay: one high-power input (constant power), one high-power output (the light or compressor or ejector seat or whatever), one coil negative, and one coil positive. One side of the coil needs to be constant (can be either + or -), the other side needs to be switched (your dash switch) (negative-switched relays often simplify wiring, but few people realize this and prefer to ground the relay to whatever chunk of metal is close and use the positive feed for the switch). The easiest way to determine which relay connectors are the coil is to look at the wire diameter: small diameter is the coil.
*The absolute bare minimum is three, because one side of the coil can be internally connected to the load input, with the other side being switched. But it's rare to come across a three-terminal coil.
^^Keep this last part in mind, because it means most 4-terminal coils can have two different switches! Say, positive side to ignition, and negative side to switch -- this makes the circuit ignition-dependent. (Technically, three switches, because the load input can also be switched!)

^^^ I'll have to read over this info when I have some time. Went to install everything yesterday got everything hooked up and went to flip the switch and nothing :( My light didn't come on so I have to trace back to figure it out.

I talked with Skygear very briefly and confirmed he IS ok and we'll be hearing from him shortly. Sounds like he had most of his communication apparati eitger stolen or busted. Lame. He's working it out amd everyone will be taken care of, I know that much. Be patient and you wont regret the wait. I promise you that.

This is great news, but I have a message from him last Tuesday saying he would be shipping Wednesday of that week and here we are a week later and nothing. I know patience is a virtue but for some of us were beyond a month of waiting. Do you have a true time table of when these will be shipped? I really need the product but I also can't keep waiting.
