Going for an install actually. Need to pad the travel expenses though.

    With a round trip in fuel , i'm looking at ~$600 each way roughly. Thats 2300 miles @ 200 miles per tank. 1 tank at current pricing ~$2.3 x 23 = 52.90

You are going to drive 2300 miles to do an install, and replied to 185 PMs??? I must say, I don't know how you do it, but that is some serious dedication! Maybe there are a couple of others along the way that would be interested in forking up a few bucks for professional install.

I'll prove you wrong on the 21 gal tank. I top off and in doing that, filling the spout, you do get over 23 gallons in our tanks. I run mine below the E and fillip when I hit my miles goal. slow process, but in overlanding, I learned to maximize all space. Especially fuel storage. I keep an extra fuel pump on board too.

I'm still stock gears on 35"s and in that, know I am actually getting a little more.

My plan is to 'bring the shop' . I'm not used to not having what I need to complete a task. I will not have that happen to me again on an install. Really felt like I let my client and myself down not being prepared for everything. Really bad feeling knowing that there are no resources to tap local to you in a foreign place.

Africa? You get me to wherever you are and I will install. Mostly in the east coast. There are rare instances where I travel great distances to do the installs. But I do not mind the distance.

In the next few weeks there will be a trip planned for cross country. I could get a thread together and have people mark places to detour and do installs on the way out and back. Just would need to have everything planned out and budgeted for appropriately.

To get to AZ, looks like Google Maps has me going through TX>

DC as the starting point for this particular trip .
