Would I need the relays, or just the fuse box? Probably the 5 relay, since my light bar and HID'S have relays huh... Then bed lighting and hood lighting kits just have a fuse which can go right into this.. Hmm

Definitely relays....if you want just fuses get a bluesea fuse box, but this will make all your wiring simplified.....you will have 5 relays that are fused and you will have an additional 5 fused sources for things only requiring a fuse

Skygear, I saw you previously advise someone that the "5th pin" of the relays you ship can be used as a second trigger. As I got around to planning my box a bit more this weekend, I looked up the schematics of that relay, and I'm not seeing how that can be the case. If you hook the supply +12V to pin 30 and the accessory to pin 87, then pin 87a (the "5th pin) would be at +12V when the relay is not powered and wouldn't act as a secondary trigger at all. If you switch it around, and put the supply on pin 87 and the accessory on pin 30, you're simply shorting pin 87a to the accessory. If you were doing this to have the high beams trigger a light bar that is also on a switch, for example, you'd either be driving the lightbar on the high beam circuit (which could blow your high beam fuse) or through the switch (which may be overpowered for smaller wire you run through the cab, and bypasses the fuse, which is kind of the point of the fusebox).

It does still appear that you'd just need to add a diode to both triggers and then wire them both to pin 87, or use two relays with everything in parallel except the triggers.

Whelp in a few short days I will have been waiting 5 months for a box! After being told two weeks at the time of order and several times of being told "it shipped" or "bout to ship" or "in the next batch waiting shipment" and finally something along the lines of I'll fulfill the outstanding orders before my trip. Guess what!? Still no box! This is getting fucking old!!!!! Been waiting since January WTF?

With a 5-pin relay that has pin 87a, you have to look at the relay as a SPDT switch and not as a primary and secondary trigger.

For example, with your switch in the off position so that no power is energizing the relay coil, pin 87a is hot. This is the normally closed default position with power supplied to 87a from pin 30. When you flip your switch and energize the coil, the relay is triggered, which powers pin 87 and takes power away from pin 87a.

If you look through the list of diagrams at the following link, you'll see several situations where you might find a 5-pin relay useful:

I don't understand why anybody waits 2 months, let alone 5. Good luck with that.

I'm aware of how relays work, I described the exact same thing in my post. Skygear was advising the "fifth pin" which I assume refers to 87a can be used as a secondary trigger. Pin 87a is simply for use as a normally-closed circuit, as you described.

Redicioulous right?? Not one time have i recieved an update or an appology, or even just a short explanation as to why the massive time delay. A little communication can go a long way...Still setting on all my accessories waiting to be used/installed...no power to them unless I wanna start running wires and inline's from the battery.
