In case anyone cares, this solution worked.

I gave it a couple weeks to make sure there were multiple days of steady rain in order to test the seal adequately. Not a single drop of water or any type of moisture in the headliner or in the cab of the truck since I sealed the holes.

So after reading this thread I decided to try this method out. It uses an M6 thread, Teflon taped the thread cap, silicone, then flex tape for the top, installed new weather strip that I got from the buyer who I sold my roof rack to. Washed it once and drenched the roof pretty good and I haven’t noticed any signs of a leak!!! Thanks for this threadB5736557-1291-406E-82B4-270F1A583CFC.jpg E7FA6E27-6F05-4098-BCDD-35D0CC712CA5.jpg 8A14805B-76C1-4B5B-96A7-4618D0324F23.jpg
