wats everyone use for a video editor

    im trying to edit a motocross video me and a buddy took today and we found a program that works pretty good but it wont save it as a regular video for some reason. anyone know of any good video editor software that is pretty good so we can play music, slow down the video and speed it up, ect. thanks

    we used the windows moviemaker and turned out good, but we cant get it to save as a regular video to like upload it

    Then graduate to Pinacle Studio Ultimate...I'm a videographer for my kids' high school football program...I do concussion videos for our trainer's sports doc...on these I play them through at full speed and then slow it down 50 percent, then to 25 percent and then 10 percent so the doc can get a good look at what happened...I barely scratch the surface on all the Studio capabilities with what I do and you can save off your videos in all kinds of formats....

    I'm a looong time sony vegas user...about to ditch and go to adobe premiere and dabble with after effects. Vegas isn't so good with DSLR footage and I'd rather not re-encode everything.

    we got the video to save so we can open it in windows media finally but its still kinda screwed up, the song goes in and out wen we have our transitions from one clip to the next, were going out tomorrow and gonna shoot more video and maybe try and find another program to use
