Wax on Bed Rails

    I was wondering if there was something to take off wax that I got on the black bed rails that are on side of a 06 Tacoma Double cab?? please Help!!

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    303 aerospace protectant works well. Most boat shops carry it.

    Hella DOT wattage high performance 9003 headlight bulbs, Optilux by Hella XY h10 fog light bulbs, Suntek HP50 tint, AFE Stage II Si intake
    isopropyl alcohol and a bristle brush with bristles about as stiff as a medium toothbrush. the alcohol will remove any wax or paint protection it touches so try not to get it everywhere. it will not hurt anything though.

    duragloss makes a product called "wax eraser" - http://www.autogeek.net/duragloss-wax-eraser.html

    some people have used peanut butter, somehow, but i have never tried it.

    ideally, use protection products that can be applied to trim and plastics without issue. that includes products like optimum spray wax or optimum sealant called "opti-seal". these sorts of things will not cause this issue for you in the future.

    Amen. Duragloss makes an awesome wax (Aquawax) and of course there's the wax that we sell too... :D
