Second this! Plus gives me more time to save. Wondering if the profile has changed wonder if the manufacture can send you pictures or rough specs?

    Check out the build
I'm in for a white and grey or black and grey.

Shock cord is a great idea!

Sample picture of what the white and grey looks like. It's a nice combo but I think the black and grey will look pretty stealth.

I am excited for the change, the shock cord I wanted from the beginning but wasn't a deal breaker, I prefer the new shell even tho it's not a flat surface but should provide a little more rigid top.

I guess I'll keep the interested list going and see what happens after I receive the tent. Pricing will stay the same

@ChandlerDOOM I just need one dimension before I'm in. What's the distance from the end of the underside mounting rail to the the end of the tent body? Assuming its symmetric and the same distance?

I was hoping for a grey. Now I just need to decide if I want a white or black shell. The shock cord is similar to the CVT hard tent just announced.

Any word if the shell re-design changes the overall dimensions?

Still in for the black/grey. Any rough estimate on how this impacts the timeframe? Providing you like what you see.

Side note- grey or gray. Ain't this America?

I'll get that on Friday or Saturday when I'm home

The only dimension that should change is the height if it even does

How it will impact time frame depends on what I see, if everything looks the same besides and isn't really much different over the model I have then a couple days after I receive we should be good to go again. Next week I should have a better idea when everything will ship out. I'll also keep an updated timeline so people can see how the import/shipping works

I was told not to put the RTT on my topper due to the weight. Wish I could it would look so much better.

Some people do it, some people dont.. Risk vs reward of looking better? haha

I also know some people purchase their toppers with more reinforcement, supposedly suppose to stand up to 500 lb of static weight.

Tec support at Leer. It can hold the weight empty but not with to people that is what I was told.

Static vs dynamic. Toppers are rated at dynamic loads

Yup, I would ask again if the rating was dynamic that they quoted you. My topper is not "reinforced" by my knowledge nor did it come with tracks for a roof rack
