Same style as in a hardshell RTT that pops up, yes. But no way of knowing who their manufacturer is. Only so many ways of making a RTT so most are pretty much the same in design.

@ChandlerDOOM do you have any problems with the tent rattling on your prinsu rack? Such as while driving on washboard roads. Also does tent affect you satellite radio reception?

 

Looks like they are trying to source them as well. Only order thru a kickstarter and they are looking for ~30 backers.

I'd rather wait for this one as I've been burnt on Kickstarter before. People that play the game with their own money up front tend to be safer to deal with in my opinion.

 

No doubt. I found the kickstarter through Craigslist and it made it seem they had the tent in stock, but it's just a crowd funding.

 

Tent doesn't rattle, but because of it overhanging onto the cab rack sometimes it will hit. I could fix it but soon it won't be an issue. The satellite radio I was worried about because the entire antenna is covered but no issues

 

I remember last we spoke, you have a regular non-reinforced shell on the bed, correct? The shell still seems to suffice?

 

Yup, I added the roof rack tracks to the shell

 

Alright, looks like shipment will be available for pickup this upcoming Monday. Next week if everything goes as planned the buy will be up and running once again. I will cap the buy off in groups of 18/19 right now for trailer load reasons. Color combos will need to be discussed as I have some concerns with getting too carried away with shipping a bunch of different colors.


If you are still interested post up your thoughts on color combination wanted. When the buy goes live next week it will be a first paid first served basis. Price will stay the same plus 150 for shipping. If ordered by end of month we should expect a late nov/early dec landing

I'm interested in black exterior and tan fabric. Unless I should go with white exterior if I plan on painting it quicksand ? Thoughts

i think black is easier for shops to paint but youre best bet is to contact the shop you want to do the painting obviously
