Are these the correct dimensions for the wedge version (taken from page 1)?

Dimensions- Outer 85"x53"x12" Inner 47.5"x81"x36"

That is the original (2 man flat top tent) measurements. Quotes above for the difference.

 

yeah being up on a shell makes that crap hard AF. a bed rack or bars would be nicer since it would sit lower, but then you can't walk under the tent overhang on the side, which I quite liked about it being up so high.

 

haha if I had the money I'd have options. some days I love the look of the bed bars/rack, other days I love the look of a shell. If I had an easy way to take my shell off the truck (heavy SOB is a PITA) I would probably have some bars.

 

for my regular DD I don't have a great need for the shell, but I love having it when I do need it. Me needs a shop.

Alright I believe this is the most correct list. Ill will be sending out PM chats here shortly as we have enough, if you are interested have have yet to post not much time is left and thats only if people back out.

 

Got your PM! Glad I made the list! If you can find out any more info on the larger tent too I'd appreciate it! Things like width of the mounting rails, exterior width, etc. I'm pretty sure I can make anything work with my bedrack but just want to be sure!

I'll do it! I have to read the entire thread, but so far I'm 90 % I will not back out. (im trying to go home from work, I'll read it tonight) I just got a Tepui less than 3 months ago (REI), and I think the hardshell might be the better option, and this one is priced just right! Please add me.
