top and hangs down. The roof has the least amount of insulation, so the extra layer would probably help a good amount and create a barrier

From the picture it just zips down the middle of where the door would be

so more like a curtain at the door? if it's zipped down it's kinda a door, if it's unzipped it's a curtain.

trying to find other ways to get us all that second door flap we want so we can leave that awning out!

Ah, well you probably wouldn't want the insulation up all the time just to have a second door flap. I have them sending me what I think is the fix but we will see when I get it. Really a different awning piece would be a better fix, something larger with better overhang

I would be interested in the insulation kit but I have other items I need before then. Maybe on the next or a later buy.

Thanks for the interest in the insulation kits, still trying to get to the 20 mark. The second door is still a work in progress

This is just a general thread update that references the title change. I have ordered a soft-shell RTT along with a standard awning, soon after I receive the tent and awning I will open the group buy up to all RTTs and awnings. This will allow the group buys to move along a little faster by mixing the order with different types of tents and gives those wanting a soft-shell tent some savings.

And something that is in the thought cycle is branding. Branding wont make any of these tents better but it could help some people in the future as it does add value vs no name. If it happens it will be subtle, something that can be removed if wanted. I am open to discussion from those that are interested in a tent or those that already have one what your thoughts are when it comes to having them branded or keeping them non branded.

Does the company already have a name in mind or are current and future owners brainstorming? Definitely behind the idea of having a name for it for the sake of value/ease of reference vs. calling it the "TacomaWorld ChandlerDOOM RTT I found in this group buy one time"
