I don’t think it was ever brought up, my friend put one in his tent. He used a tepui mat from his old tent, but he hasn’t actually used the tent so I can’t say if it’s actaully needed or a large difference with and without

I have a anti condensation mat in my cvt. It makes a notable difference in colder weather. Instead of the matress being wet on the bottom it is completely dry. I will be grabbing one for this tent also. They will not make a difference in the amount of condensation that collects on the tent walls or roof, opening a window will

I'm planning on pulling the mat out of my Tepui to put in this tent when I get it. Probably will need to trim it to size but having some extra measures to prevent condensation under the mattress and provide an additional air layer can never hurt, right?

Yeah I always open a window a little bit, in the winter the condensation build up is too much without doing so.

Yeah it wont hurt to have the extra layer, if I still had mine it would be in the tent

Once this rain stops I'll have my tent up and ready for a quick weekend outing. I used the Anti condensation pad from the Tepui Ayer, its the same footprint as the tent, fits in there with no modification. Will report back!

Super excited to use my wedge, since receiving I've added a 2in memory foam topper & LED strip lighting, should be a rad little home.

No problems getting the tent closed with the condensation mat and 2" topper? Did you leave some blanks and pillows in there too?

At the moment it's a little tough to get everything stuffed inside. I may have to trim the topper a little bit on the sides, I think that's the problem. But I'm going to test out what works as far as bedding goes today. I may have to replace the rear straps with longer ones, looks easy enough to do, just two rivets.

Finally built my rack today out of 8020 profiles and mounted the tent. Really easyou to get the tent on the rack by using the tailgate as a step.

Only problem I have is the window awning rods don't put enough tension on the awning so fall out of the hole in the tent base pretty easily. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Im interested in a tent, if there is another round coming up or any available. Also, question for this using thule or yakima racks. What length cross bars are you running? 50 or 60?

Hey sorry about the late reply. I’ll be starting a new list soonish and it’s just dependent on how fast it fills until it happens. Cross bars doesn’t really matter so long as the mounts don’t interfere with the tent mount rails

I'm interested in the next group buy. I'm located in the SF Bay Area.

One question I had was if there was an option to mount crossbars on top of the tent to carry additional gear. Thanks.

Also, any Bay Area folks with one of these I can check out?
