The awning should be taut by the bow of the rods. The holes at the base of the tent are angled inward. So you have to make sure to pull down on the rods and slide them completely in.

Just a waiting game until production is finished, this is the most boring part of the process unfortunately. Soon as I get word that it’s nearing completion I’ll update the PM chat to keep everyone informed

I probably missed it, but any idea when you expect to have your soft rtt sample in hand and when you will know pricing on that?

Ill have the sample in hand once this next shipment lands, Pricing will likely be around 1k with shipping. That price would be for a tent with an overhang and annex along with the same guarantee that you will receive a good working tent after I personally deliver your tent.

Adding the soft-shell tents to the line up has a lot of unknowns especially what has happened in the past to other members, so I want to ensure my route has enough fail safes to make sure everyone is taken care of

Finally had a little extra time to grab a few quick pics of the wedge with gray fabric. Chandler and I wrapped the shell an urban camo awhile back

As for what's in there, I have a tepui anti condensation pad for the Ayer, then the regular mattress, then a 3" memory foam topper, mattress cover, full size blanket & two compressible pillows. Everything compresses very nicely, the memory foam topper did have to be trimmed about an inch on all sides, but you can't tell there's a gap once your body lays on the mattress. So cozy!

Depends if your looking for perfection or not lol. Lots of complex curves on the wedge vs the normal hardshell, so that kicks up the difficulty. Also it would have helped if we broke it up in front/back sections, having extra vinyl off the ends is key to having a good area to grab and stretch the vinyl into place. I will probably end up doing mine, and maybe I can throw together a video for those that want to wrap their own.
