I'm gonna have to back out. Thanks for setting this up and bringing an affordable option in though!

Just curious as I'm dealing with garage clearance and roof rack height right now and possibly changing garage door headers to get more clearance...

What is the closed height of the tent itself and also total height on your Prinsu rack while closed? *edit* (measured from the top of the roof)

Better figure in tires and lift because they're on the way if not already there....

Ha yeah I'm already lifted with tires...thankfully I still clear with about 2 inches above my Yakima towers/bars and basket. So I'm not far off from being able to mount a RTT on a lower profile rack.

I'm in the same boat. My Tepui is about 14" which is a nogo for the garage.

Yo man, this tent isn't going to crap out on us after 1 year is it? Like the stitching "suddenly" decides to become undone and horrible shit like that.

Totally reasonable question, but if I could build a product that fails at an exact time I would be in a much better position in life than I am now. Likely working for a computer company lol

But anyways I doubt it, stitching looks good, parts used looks good, use it as intended and you should be just fine. The fabric actually unzips from the shell besides the windows, so worst case I would just remove the section that you need from one of my spare tents and send it out to you while I make the warranty exchange on your fabric so you can keep going about your camping

After a year I will do everything in my power to make things right if something fails to an extent of reasonability. Like I've said before I am having 2 tents kept for myself in case we have a defective tent in the bunch, or parts later down the line.

I'm out. It's too big for my roof.

Okay so I have the voodoo bed rack tall. Will this clear the roof of my cab? If it doesnt, surely I can just add a platform or w/e to raise it the height to clear roofline?

I can chat about different colors but I'm guessing pricing will go up because they would be different, but anything is possible for the right price

All good, Even my Yakima basket was almost too wide for my 3rd gen.

I'm not sure how tall the rack is, you could use a spacer of sort along with longer carriage bolts for the tent brackets

I only grabbed some pictures of it open myself, the owner took a bunch of nice pictures but has only posted one teaser. I think today he's gonna get the pictures too me

I'd be interested in a different color as well.
