Is this a one time thing or will be a regularly stocked item at some point?

Hopefully but might be a while, this tent isn't my main venture right now just something I figured I could offer to the masses less than the price of other companies. What I may end up doing is once my other products are available I will order tents as filler items in the container for stock

So the TW mom comes out and I am curious and concerned...

    1. Where are you shipping the container where it arrives in a week?

I spoke to manufacturers about RTTs last year. From China to the eastern seaboard was quoted at 40-45 days. I doubled checked the emails earlier.

    2. Are the warranties being provided by you or the manufacturer? Who pays for the shipping cost for said warranty work?

As someone to participated in the last major (40% off) RTT GB, hope you're ready for issues. From malfunctioning ladders to torn fabric, you will need way more than two extras for warranty. Out of less than 40 tents, at least six had issues within the first month or two.

    3. How are you handling payments?

Simply said, you have nearly 60k of TWers' money at stake. We don't need another Mahalo situation.

You're like the person that reads the rules in monopoly. We all want to know the real answers, but we usually just brush past them..

I don't read rules or directions. I just know there's a lot behind the scenes when it comes to this stuff. I researched the shit out of it last year. Did you know you need a licensed agent to acquire your items at port? There's so many little things that most people are unaware of. Plus I'd hate to see a Mahalo 2.0 situation.

Oh trust me, me too. I got through the first Mahalo scratch free, but watched as the fire blazed on round 2. I'm loving these tents so I hope chandler has it all figured out, seems like the kind of guy that would.

He's right I updated it after I replied, i posted the height earlier but in a reply to someone else

Container shipment will to to CA if I'm doing it as I plan. Your quoting transit times to the eastern seaboard, not to be rude but China is closest to the west coast not the east so I could very well imagine is taking that long as you were quoted.

Warranty is handled by the manufacturer through me, no different than tepui or CVT handles warranty work.

So you participated in a group buy of a completely different tent. Less fabric and less of a chance prone to tearing compared to a soft shell. If you looked at the ladder design it is completely different. Plus I already have plans in place for both issues

Payments are PayPal, it keeps people safe.

Just to be clear to anyone here, I will make anything right that is not even if it means giving you my own tent until it gets sorted. I will keep everyone updated throughout the entire process, you ask and I'll give you an answer.

For anyone that doesn't realize, I have the tent myself, I have dealt with the shipping myself, I have dealt with customs myself, and I have gone through the tent myself. Zero smoke and mirrors

See nobody wants the situation and I don't aim for it either but the difference is you researched it and I did it. Your putting the horse in front of the trailer, a whole post from me will be put out prior to ordering so everyone has the understanding of how importing works prior to payment

Signing off for the night, got an early morning at work tomorrow.

Looks like we have enough people or very close, so tomorrow I will update the list and put out information to everyone and get everyone's location together for the shipping game plan.
