after i got my life, i saw my gas milage decrease.

on a full tank i can get 265 miles on a full tank. it holds 16gallons.

    gas here is 2.99.

how many miles do i get a gallon?

how can i improve it, without changing my tires. or anything else.

i have 33''tires. 6''lift. skidplate running boards. procomp 17fuel octane wheels

05+ there is no difference in tank size across the range unless it has been replaced for some reason.

Maybe you have never been completely empty. I fill up at 19.8 sometimes. It is defiantly 21+ gallons. no use arguing, admit you wrong and let it be....your getting better gas milage than you think i guess

that's nice, but the tank has 21 gallons. if it only had 16.5 gallons and that's how much you put into it everytime, then you'd be running it bone dry and pushing it to the pump each time. check your manual. it will tell you 21 gallons. 16-17 gallons is when the light comes on initially, but there is gas after that

You may have only put in 16.5 gallons but as the others have said the tank is 21 gallons.

    265 / 16 = 16.5 mpg.

So I assume your basic question is, "How can I improve my MPG?" Well, there isn't much you can do with 33's and a 6" lift. If you're getting 16+ mpg, you're lucky.
